When is the retreat?

The retreat will begin on February 21st 2025 and will end on March 1st 2025. It is a total of 8 nights and 8 full days. On day 9, your private transfer is arranged to take you to Colombo Airport.

Do I need a visa for Sri Lanka?

Yes, visitors need a visa to visit Sri Lanka. You can get it on arrival, or save time by getting it online. It is a simple process, and assistance will be given when you apply for your visa. The cost is approx. USD50 (not included in the retreat package)

What do I need to bring?

A full packing list will be shared with you a couple of weeks before the retreat so you can be prepared with your essentials. There will be time to shop beautiful island pieces, so don’t overpack!

Do I need any vaccines?

For most short-term travellers the usual recommended vaccinations for Sri Lanka include cover against the childhood diseases (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Poliomyelitis, Measles, Mumps and Rubella) as well as cover against the food and water borne diseases of Typhoid and Hepatitis.

Do I have to be really fit or be really good at yoga to join?

Our activities are open to all fitness levels, and can be easily adapted to suit our group. Remember, we do this together, ladies! We do like to challenge ourselves, but you don’t need to be a gym bunny or a super yogi to enjoy each of our activities.

What is the currency and how much cash should I bring?

The currency is the Sri Lankan Rupee. ATMs are widely available and cards are accepted in bigger stores. Almost all of your expenses are covered within the retreat package, apart from spending money, any meals unaccounted for outside the accommodation and tips. You can exchange money when you arrive at the airport. A good amount to have in cash would be around USD30. You can withdraw any extra later on in the trip.

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes, you can pay in instalments over a maximum of 4 months. If you book during or after November 2024, the amount must be paid in full. The final payment should be made by December 31st, 2024.

What is the refund policy?

A KD100 (USD300) deposit is required to secure your space on the retreat. This deposit is non-refundable, but is deductible from the final instalment. If you cancel before November 1st 2024, you will be entitled to a 50% refund of the total payment made. Any cancellations made after November 1st, 2024 are non-refundable.
